New CTG Cleaning Solutions to be Introduced at MRO Americas 2018

In just a few weeks the MRO AMERICAS 2018  show will be taking place in Orlando, Florida. Scheduled for April 10 - 15, 2018, the show will feature a broad range of new products, services, and business opportunities relating to the aviation industry. MRO AMERICAS is produced by the Aviation Week Network, premier organizer of aviation and aerospace conferences, exhibitions, awards ceremonies, symposiums, and roundtables around the world. This event is billed as the largest and most essential gathering of aviation maintenance professionals. Over 850 exhibitors and more than 8,700 attendees have pre-registered to attend.

As a parts cleaning solutions supplier to the aviation and aerospace industries, CTG is excited to be participating in this year’s event. Attendees who visit the Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics in Booth #1262 will learn about our products, technologies, and services. Several new Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonic advanced cleaning solutions will be introduced at the show. Among the new technologies exhibited will be:

AgiSonic® Ultrasonic Parts Washer Cleaning

Featuring all stainless steel construction, this parts washer is a robust ultrasonic cleaning system engineered for heavy duty parts washing with vertical parts agitation. Offered in three standard sizes, each system incorporates an air powered agitation platform to facilitate loading and unloading, and to agitate parts with a 6" stroke up to 15 times per minute. The AgiSonic features:

• parts automatic filling and liquid makeup (from a customer supplied source)
• pump and single bag filter
• an overflow weir skimmer
• automatic oil removal system
• lift-off lid

Ultrasonic time, cleaning tank temperature warm up, filtration and oil removal are all digitally controlled using a touch screen interface. The system is completely self-contained and requires a three phase power supply hookup. The largest model can accommodate a platform load up to 500 lbs.

The AgiSonic parts washers are ideal for automotive, aerospace, medical and general industrial applications. These systems can operate in the harshest industrial environment or in precision cleaning applications.

GMC Series Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems

GMC Series ultrasonic cleaning systems are available in two sizes. ­The larger model can accommodate parts with one dimension up to 35 inches and weighing up to 125 pounds. Both models are completely self-contained, supported on casters, and operate from commonly available power supplies, making them easy to move where needed for either in-place or utility cleaning. Both systems include:

• pump and dual cartridge ‑filtration
• surface sparger
• automated controls for heat, pump, and ultrasonics
• lid
• one standard basket

A drip pan (the open hinged lid in the case of the GMC 1818 or attached to the side of the tank in the case of the GMC 3523) allows draining one basket of parts while cleaning another.
