LeanVeyor Parts Cleaning Systems

Auto Parts cleaning

Ransohoff LeanVeyor systems are widely used in automotive applications, particularly for cleaning automotive gears.

For example, for the cleaning of ring and pinion gears, a manufacturer needed a solution for cleaning grinding swarf and oil at a rate of .55 milligrams per gear set for an axle with 70oz of fluid fill. The cleaning system needed to keep pace with a production rate of 72 sets per hour and incorporate a drying system to get the components completely dry. The company also needed a system with as small a footprint as possible.

CTG Cleans LeanVeyor cleaning system

Our team implemented a 24” LeanVeyor to provide pre-wash, ultrasonic wash, wash, rinse, and heated blow off. System features included:

  • Ultrasonics
  • Dual strand fixtureized conveyor
  • Duplex filtration wash and rinse
  • Pro-Sep
  • Wash down stage in blow-off
  • Siemens controls
  • Continuous vacuum filter

The system worked for the facility’s space constraints with an actual footprint of 35’ long x 31’ wide, x 8’ tall, including the continuous filter.

LeanJet Automated Rotary Basket Part Washer

The LeanJet RB-2 Pass Through immersion cleaning system is another Ransohoff cleaning system that is widely used in the automotive industry. The LeanJet processes two (2) industrial standard sized baskets of parts per cycle, up to twenty (20) baskets per hour.

The LeanJet RB-2 parts washer uses a washing and rinsing process of agitation, spray impingement, hydraulic purging through immersion and rotation, ultrasonics, and heated blow-off drying. The "triple action" batch cleaning process was specifically designed to process a wide range of challenging parts, particularly those with internal bores, passages, and complex geometries. This cleaning system is capable of meeting the most critical expectations.

The LeanJet RB-2 features the latest Siemens S7-1200 programmable controller and operator interface screen. This control platform boosts system flexibility for automation integration, process control, and data logging - all while providing an intuitive user interface.
