Ransohoff, world leader in providing cleaning and waste minimization technologies will introduce a host of advanced cleaning solutions at the Gear Expo 2015 in Detroit, Michigan October 20 - 22, 2015. Visitors to Ransohoff Booth #2146 will be introduced to a number of new products, technologies and services. Among the new technologies exhibited at the show will be: • The New LeanJet® RB-1 Cleaning System uses a patented washing and rinsing process of agitation, spray impingement, hydraulic purging through immersion and rotation, ultrasonics, and heated blow-off drying. The patented "triple action" batch cleaning process was developed specifically to process a broad range of challenging parts, especially those with internal bores and passages and complex geometries, making this system capable of meeting critical cleaning expectations. The new LeanJet RB-1 Gen 3 parts washer also features the latest Siemens programmable controller and operator interface screen. This controls platform boosts system flexibility for automation integration, process control and data logging while offering an intuitive user interface. The new RB-1 has many enhancements for easy maintenance such as larger access doors, larger tank access lids, bolt on air knife and more. The new RB-1 has a small foot print of 4ft. wide x 7ft. deep x 6.6 ft. height.

Cleaning Technologies Group (CTG) is proud to announce that it has started a cooperative education program (co-op program) at its CTG Asia division with the Joint Co-op Institute (JCI) – a partnership between the University of Cincinnati and Chongqing University. The JCI students are all Chinese nationals who are studying a UC engineering curriculum being taught entirely in English by both UC and CQU professors. This program enables students to gain practical experience to complement their university education and better prepare them to transition into the workforce. CTG Asia recently hired Zhao Bi Han who goes by the English name Ivy. Ivy is a freshman at JCI in Chongqing studying in the Mechanical Engineering Program. Her desire to design machines made CTG Asia an ideal place to start her Co-op career. Another factor in her decision is the location of CTG headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Ivy will finish the last years of her studies at the University of Cincinnati and is expected to receive degrees from both universities. Cleaning Technologies Group has utilized the co-op programs at local universities for decades. Barney Bosse, CEO of CTG participated in the University of Cincinnati Co-op Program in the 1990’s and is a mechanical engineering graduate of the university.

Cleaning Technologies Group a world leader in providing cleaning and waste minimization technologies will introduce a host of advanced cleaning solutions at the AMTS – Shanghai International Automotive Manufacturing and Technology show in Shanghai, China August 26 - 28, 2015. Visitors to Cleaning Technologies Group Booth #E1-C22 will be introduced to a number of new products, technologies and services. Among the new technologies exhibited at the show will be: The New Lean-Jet® RT-12 robotically tended cellular parts washer. Ransohoff has developed an innovative, patented drive system that adds an entirely new level of flexibility to this already extremely effective cellular design. While the previous generation did provide planetary part rotation at each processing station, the new design allows for each individual table to be programed to rotate a part in multiple directions, at varying speeds, or to pause and position a part for dedicated spaying or probing of critical holes or difficult to address areas. As table position is tracked throughout the cycle and parts are positively located at the load and unload station, this design is a perfect match for a robotically tended manufacturing cell. This cellular washer is available with various configurations offering not only the ability to wash and dry your parts but also rinsing or part cooling if necessary. The RT-12 accommodates a wide range of part sizes, weights and geometries and will produce up to one part, or table of parts, every 30 seconds depending on the application. The new generation Lean-Jet RT-12 is available with a Siemens PLC and HMI package.
