Ransohoff was honored to be invited to participate in National Machinery’s 150th Anniversary Open House, which took place September 17 - 19, 2024, in Tiffin, Ohio. Our team was involved in three specific areas:
- Demonstration of Ransohoff equipment during a plant tour
- Luncheon trade show style display
- Lecture on Best Practices in Cleaning Processes
Plant Tour
Tours of the National Machinery manufacturing facility were given multiple times a day to groups of 5 to 15 people. Tour attendees included National Machinery clients, distributors, former employees, Tiffin city officials, executives and board members of National Machinery and Ransohoff. During one stop along the tour, attendees observed a fully operating Lean Drum CF using Ransohoff Evercycle™ cleaning chemistry to clean bolts formed with a National Machinery cold header, which was also on display in the tour. Tour participants were given a brief overview of the system and were provided with opportunities to ask questions, inspect wash and rinse tanks, and also view both clean and dirty parts. The threaded fasteners being manufactured in the National Machinery’s “SMART” threaders featured the 150th Anniversary logo. While some of the branded fasteners were previously cleaned with solvent, some batches of the new fasteners were also cleaned with the Lean Drum CF onsite. The Ransohoff cleaned components were noticeably brighter than those previously cleaned with solvent.
Trade Show
A luncheon trade show area was open during the lunch break for visitors to learn more about National Machinery products as well as the valued suppliers involved with National Machinery processes. Ransohoff displayed the ProClean Drum animation and information on the entire Ransohoff product line. Throughout the event, visitors spoke with Ransohoff representatives about our equipment and chemical processes.
