January 2010 – Cincinnati, OH Chrysler 2009 Award Cleaning Technologies Group, LLC is pleased to announce that Thomas Haskamp, Regional Sales Manager for CTG, has been awarded the 2009 Environmental Leadership Award for his significant contribution to environmental excellence at the Chrysler Group.  Thomas was nominated for this prestigious award because of his involvement and leadership in a project that modified fifty plus aging washers at several local automotive facilities, making them more energy efficient. This resulted in maximizing production and quality for the automotive manufacturer while reducing energy costs.  This tremendous undertaking was not only beneficial to the Chrysler Group but also to the environment and surrounding community.  Thomas Haskamp has over thirty years of experience with CTG.   Over the years he has been involved in numerous upgrades and advances in technologies that have made our washers some of the most environmentally friendly in the industry.

September 2009 Cleaning Technologies Group is pleased to announce the successful shipment of the first, LeanJet RB-2 parts washer, which was completely constructed and commissioned in our Suzhou, China facility. Designed to fit into your work cell area or a smaller production environment, the Lean-Jet RB-2 immersion cleaning system uses our patented washing and rinsing process of agitation, spray impingement, rotation, hydraulic purging through immersion, and heated blow-off drying. Originally designed specifically for the Aerospace and Medical industries, the RB-2 is a perfect fit for any precision cleaning application. Keeping the need for spare parts in mind, the Chinese model is built using components that are readily available in China. The new CTG Asia facility in Suzhou, formally announced in May of this year, houses a state of the art Technical Center, including a Clean Room with all equipment and instrumentation necessary for high level cleanliness analysis and Process Development and Verification. A variety of standard parts washers are available in the Technical Center for parts testing and customer demonstrations.

CTG will be participating in the inaugural Process Cleaning Expo (PCx), held in Louisville, KY in May of 2010. This is sure to be an excellent show given the extensive marketing power of Gardner Publications.  Modeled after their European partner, Parts2Clean, PCx is the only event in North America dedicated to cleaning within the manufacturing process. Cleaning Technologies Group participated this year for the first time in MEDTEC China hosted in Shanghai. This is the technology event of the year for the medical device manufacturing industry in China. It is an exhibition and conference of manufacturing and automation technology, materials, and outsourcing for medical device manufacturers in China. As China will soon be the world’s second largest producer and consumer of medical devices this market is a main focus for CTG Asia. This market is growing at an average rate of 15% annually.
