This year’s show will once again be held at McCormick Place convention facility. IMTS is the largest manufacturing technology show in the Western Hemisphere and is the best place to experience and compare manufacturing technologies from around the world. IMTS 2012 is on track to be one of the top five largest IMTS events ever, featuring more than 1,800 exhibiting companies spread over 1.2 million square feet of space! Be sure to register on the IMTS website using the MyShow Planner tool. Using MyShow Planner will help to make the most of your time in Chicago by locating exhibitors and planning your show days in advance. Don’t forget to add CTG in Booth E5663 to your MyShow Planner!

Over the past few months, CTG Asia employees, Double Zhou, Peter Liu and Blue Shen visited the United States to train with team members from our Cincinnati and New York divisions. All three spent time at both locations, learning from the US engineering and manufacturing teams. They were able to collaborate and work together with US employees on current projects. When the time came to travel back to China, Double commented, "During the last 3 months of training, all of the engineering and manufacturing people taught and helped us very much. The engineering department arranged wonderful training for us. We appreciate your great help and support to aid in CTG Asia's growth!" Ransohoff and Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics would like to say, "thanks" to Double, Peter and Blue for coming to visit!

Cleaning Technologies Group is proud to announce that CTG Asia has been awarded ISO9001 certification! The ISO9001 certification represents an international consensus on good quality management practices and is designed to help organizations ensure they meet the needs and standards of customers. Committing to the ISO9001 standard provides the company with a systematic approach to organizational processes, guaranteeing customers receive quality products on a consistent basis. The Association for Manufacturing Technology opened its 3rd technology and service centre on May 15th in Chennai, India. The new technology and service centre will provide Indian manufacturers with access to American manufacturing technology and equipment. AMT hopes the tech centre will help to promote US exports while saving Indian companies time and money. CTG plans to install demo machines including our Lean-Jet RB-2 and Agisonic, along with a testing room in the new centre. Our Indian customers will be able to visit the centre and observe our machines in running condition. Customers will also have the opportunity to send in parts for testing and Millipore validations. CTG is proud and excited to be a part of the new AMT Chennai Technology & Service Centre!

When the March tornadoes ravaged parts of the South and Midwest, leveling small towns throughout Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky, Ransohoff employees began looking for a way to help the victims. Through both employee and company donations, Ransohoff was able to raise $3,500 for the Neediest Kids of All. The NKOA, founded in 1952, collects and disburses funds to children around the Greater Cincinnati tri-state area and has helped over 174,649 children within the last decade. Ransohoff's donation helped contribute to over $59,461 that was raised by NKOA to help the smallest victims of the tornadoes! Congratulations, Ransohoff, on a job well done!

Ransohoff has been selected as a winner for the 6th annual MANNY Awards in Greater Cincinnati. The MANNY Awards, presented by Cincy Magazine,  recognize companies who have overcome the many obstacles and challenges the manufacturing industry has faced. Over the past year, Ransohoff has recovered strongly, investing in and introducing 2 new cleaning systems to customers. These new product developments led to over a 10% increase in revenue in 2011 alone. In addition to being recognized for innovative product developments, Ransohoff will be honored for its unique customer-focused approach and for the company's commitment to adding engineering and manufacturing jobs to the Cincinnati market. The MANNY Awards presentation will be held on June, 5 2012 at the Sharonville Convention Center.

This week, CTG is participating in the Shenzhen International Machinery Manufacturing Exhibition in Shenzhen, China. This year's show features displays from over 1,100 exhibitors with the newest machinery technology, service and supplies. SIMM 2012 is expected to draw 100,000 attendees over 3 days. CTG employees from Ransohoff, Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics and CTG Asia have been on hand for product demonstrations and to answer any questions from show attendees. There's one day left to visit Cleaning Technologies Group in booth 1P-16 at the largest exhibition in South China's equipment manufacturing industry!

On Wednesday, the Business Courier named CTG as one of thirteen finalists for the 2012 Cincinnati USA Innovation Awards. The 13 local finalists selected have fueled the Tri-State’s economic engine with new ideas and innovative approaches to problem solving. The awards will be presented by the Business Courier, Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and Cincy Tech at an awards program on April 17th at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati. Be sure to check back in April to see if we bring home the award for Outstanding Engineering Innovation or Outstanding Information Technology Innovation! Reuben Chasteen has been named Chief Operating Officer of Ransohoff.  Mr. Chasteen will oversee and manage all operations at Ransohoff, including purchasing, engineering and manufacturing. "Reuben has been an essential part of Ransohoff's success as the VP of Manufacturing for many years.  His excellent work, company knowledge and dedication provide a solid foundation as he assumes responsibility for all operations within Ransohoff, as well as supporting the other Cleaning Technology Group divisions.  I'm confident that Reuben will lead us as the Chief Operating Officer to achieve our stated values and purpose," said Barney Bosse, President of Ransohoff. Reuben resides in Trenton, Ohio and has three daughters, a son and eight grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and friends while traveling the USA on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Kailash Chauhan has joined Cleaning Technologies Group, LLC as the India Business Development Manager, effective December 5th, 2011. Mr. Chauhan will direct and oversee all of Cleaning Technologies Group’s sales and business development efforts in India. "Kailash has the technical and business experience and expertise necessary to carve the path for CTG to become India’s leading provider of parts cleaning and waste minimization equipment. His ambition and drive will clearly make him a successful addition to our Global Sales Team," said Chris Whittaker, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Cleaning Technologies Group. Kailash has over 11 years of experience in industrial equipment applications and 3 years of experience in industrial cleaning. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Chauhan currently resides in Delhi with his wife.
