Ransohoff's new Lean-Jet RB-8 part of CTG's family of lean products, has met a new standard of cleaning.  CTG recently developed a specific new process consisting of part fixturing, chemistries, and cycle times to meet a customer's  200 micron cleanliness specification.  The cleanliness level exceeded the customer's expectations and the perfomance surpassed similar washers they currently have in house. In the new Lean-Jet RB-8 all of the internal passages are thoroughly cleaned and flushed using our patented "triple action" cleaning process.  After the initial wash, an ultrasonic cleaning cycle is used to enhance the "triple action" process.  To insure a maximum particle size of 200 micron is maintained, step filtration is used on the rinse tank.  This includes 50 micron bag filters, followed by 10 micron cartridge filtration.

Ransohoff, originally named The Ideal Concrete Company, was founded in 1916 by Nathan Ransohoff, introducing a batch type tumbling barrel as his first product line. Offering concrete mixers as the primary source of revenue, the idea of applying a finish to parts by tumbling them with an aggregate or corn media was originally born while Nathan was watching construction workers clean their tools in his cement mixers after a days work. Today, Ransohoff is one of the worlds largest producers of drum washers and tumbling barrels. Often used for cleaning and polishing ammunition shells, castings, carbon covered remanufactured parts, and fasteners.

Ransohoff is pleased to announce the LeanJet RB-8 immersion cleaning system, formerly known as the ImmersoJet HC-8. This rotary basket washer  processes eight (8) industrial standard size baskets of parts per cycle, up to eighty (80) baskets per hour. The LeanJet RB-8 cleans using a patented washing and rinsing process of agitation, spray impingement, hydraulic purging through immersion and rotation, ultrasonics, and heated blow-off drying. The patented "triple action" batch cleaning process was developed specifically to process a broad range of challenging parts, especially those with internal bores and passages and complex geometries, making this system capable of meeting critical cleaning expectations. The LeanJet RB-8 parts washer also features the latest Siemens S7-1200 programmable controller and operator interface screen. This controls platform boosts system flexibility for automation integration, process control and data logging while offering an intuitive user interface. As with all of the CTG LeanJet products, customer specific basket designs are available to accommodate larger parts
