Here is an excellent demonstration of glass pitch removal using Blackstone-NEY ultrasonic technology. As you can see in a relatively short cycle time this optic is taken from being covered in pitch to crystal clear. Notice that due to the orientation of the optic, chosen for viewing purposes, most of the pitch is broken free from the surface but trapped under the part. When the operator lifts the optic up, the pitch is washed away.
