Lean-Jet RB-1

New Lean-Jet® RB-1

The new Lean-Jet® RB-1 Gen 4 Cleaning System is the next advancement in immersion cleaning that uses a patented washing and rinsing process with a combination of spray/immersion, ultrasonics, rotate/rock and heated blow-off drying. This new design allows for a 10% increase in production with unlimited flexibility and increased bath life. The modular design of the new RB-1 allows an additional rinse stage to be easily added to the machine.

Blasckstone-NEY Ultrasonics and Safety-Kleen have teamed up with Graveyard Carz by providing them with a GMC Series GMC 3523 to assist them with their parts cleaning requirements.  Click on the video link to see more.

The GMC 3523 automated ultrasonic cleaning system features a self-contained cleaning tank designed to simply, safely, and consistently clean a wide variety of parts requiring ultrasonic cleaning. This method of cleaning provides superior results while also providing significant savings in time and resources.

The internal tank working dimensional measure 35” wide, by 20” front to back, and it has a nominal working depth of over 10”. This makes the system suitable from everything from a small handful of components to larger assemblies, and useful for businesses ranging from small shops to large facilities.

Eric KenneyEric Kenney was named President of Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics effective March 1, 2017.  Mr. Kenney will be responsible for all operations at the Jamestown, NY location.  He will report directly to Barney Bosse, CEO of Cleaning Technologies Group, LLC. 

Mr. Kenny started at Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics in 2016 as the Global OEM Account Manager for Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics.    Eric’s background includes extensive sales & marketing and senior management experience.

Chris WhittakerCleaning Technologies Group (CTG) announces the promotion of Chris Whittaker to Vice President Business Development & Marketing.  Chris formerly served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.  In his new role, Chris will be responsible for global business growth of the Ransohoff Division of products and services.  He will retain the global marketing responsibilities for all of the CTG divisions.

Cleaning Technologies Group, a world leader in providing cleaning and waste minimization technologies, will introduce a host of advanced cleaning solutions at the Tecnologia en Maquinas-Herramienta (TECMA) in Mexico City, Mexico March 7 - 10, 2017. Visitors to Cleaning Technologies Group Booth #445 will be introduced to a number of new products, technologies and services. Among the new technologies exhibited at the show will be:

Lean-Jet RB-2 Aqueous Immersion Cleaning System uses a patented washing and rinsing process of agitation, spray impingement, hydraulic purging through immersion and rotation, ultrasonics, and heated blow-off drying. The patented "triple action" batch cleaning process was specifically developed to process a broad range of challenging parts, especially those with internal bores, passages and complex geometries, making this system capable of meeting critical cleaning expectations.

Lean Innovation from RansohoffRansohoff and AAM completed their first lean innovative workshop at the AAM plant Guanajuato, Mexico. Curt Buttermore and Pankaj Patel from American Axle listened to their internal customers who questioned “How can lean manufacturing practices could be applied to a cleaning systems to address a number of key concerns”.

AAM Mexico is rapidly expanding and floor space, operator efficiency, and PM down time are now major concerns to ensure production volumes are achieved.  AAM reached out to their supplier base about their lean concerns and Ransohoff stepped up and offered their assistance but putting on a lean workshop in Mexico.  Ransohoff formed a team headed by Greg Allen, Ransohoff’s own innovation engineer whose favorite quote from Peter Drucker formed the outline for the meeting “The buyer rarely buys what the seller thinks he’s selling”.  The workshop included employees from all departments of AAM including maintenance, engineering, and plant work flow and layout.  The workshop format used an on line survey to gather information prior to the meeting coupled with group exercises and idea capturing yellow cards.  The basics of the workshop was an open dialog flow of information to ensure all departments had equal input in all aspects of the system.

They are ideal for laboratory as well as entry-level through small-scale production cleaning. The compact design fits easily on a work bench or can be installed as a bench top drop-in.
