Chris Whittaker has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Cleaning Technologies Group (CTG).  Mr. Whittaker will be responsible for all CTG sales activities in North America and for all CTG global marketing activities.  The Ransohoff and Blackstone-NEY sales force will report directly to Chris, and he will provide leadership and guidance to the CTG Asia sales team. "Chris will do a great job leading our sales initiatives as we move forward and he will help assure that we present the same image and message to all of our customers.  In addition, he will continue to leverage the strengths of all divisions as we move to further develop and penetrate corporate strategic customers, and increase our market share on a global basis." - Jim McEachen, CEO CTG, LLC Chris is a 2000 graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he has over 10 years experience with the Cleaning Technologies Group working in the engineering, proposal, and sales departments.  Most recently he consolidated the new CTG website and launched many new sales procedures and processes.  Chris was responsible for developing the 2011 CTG Sales & Marketing Plan.

Jim McEachen, CEO of Cleaning Technologies Group recently participated in a trade mission to India, which was arranged by the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT).  The mission consisted of visits with a few very important India manufacturers, a tour of the Chennai based AMT Technology Center, and an extended visit to the bi-annual IMTEX (India Machine Tool Exposition) trade show in Bangalore.  The visit was very informative and important.  CTG plans to base its India operations out of the AMT Chennai Technical Center (CTC).  Please watch for announcements in the near future.

Suzhou, China - The Cleaning Technologies Group has hired a new Operations Manager for its Asia facility.  Mr. Wang Ligang will be in charge of engineering, production, and planning at CTG Asia.  Mr. Wang Ligang spent eight years with Grundfos Suzhou, as a mechanical engineer, production engineer, and production manager.  He is a graduate of Xian Jiao Tong University and spent one year with Bombardier Suzhou before joining CTG. In 2010 CTG Asia increased its production of parts washers and immersion cleaning systems. Ransohoff's new Lean-Jet RB-8 part of CTG's family of lean products, has met a new standard of cleaning.  CTG recently developed a specific new process consisting of part fixturing, chemistries, and cycle times to meet a customer's  200 micron cleanliness specification.  The cleanliness level exceeded the customer's expectations and the perfomance surpassed similar washers they currently have in house. In the new Lean-Jet RB-8 all of the internal passages are thoroughly cleaned and flushed using our patented "triple action" cleaning process.  After the initial wash, an ultrasonic cleaning cycle is used to enhance the "triple action" process.  To insure a maximum particle size of 200 micron is maintained, step filtration is used on the rinse tank.  This includes 50 micron bag filters, followed by 10 micron cartridge filtration.

IMG_9941cropped Suzhou, China - The Cleaning Technologies Group and National Machinery Co. Ltd. (Suzhou) hosted "China Aerospace High Efficient Technology Conference 2010"  at their Suzhou plant in China.  Around 100 attendees visited the facility and listened to a presentation about "Cleaning and Cold Forming Technology in the Aerospace Industry". Mr. Barney Bosse, President of Ransohoff CTG, started with a welcome speech.  Mr. Zheng Enlin, Vice GM, presented a variety of cleaning technologies, applications and equipments used in the areospace industry.  Mr. Cheang, Mun Pok, GM presented on the latest technology in cold forming for the aerospace industry.  The audience showed strong interest in both presentations and demonstrations.  After the conference, some attendees participated in some in-depth discussions with our sales team. Ransohoff, originally named The Ideal Concrete Company, was founded in 1916 by Nathan Ransohoff, introducing a batch type tumbling barrel as his first product line. Offering concrete mixers as the primary source of revenue, the idea of applying a finish to parts by tumbling them with an aggregate or corn media was originally born while Nathan was watching construction workers clean their tools in his cement mixers after a days work. Today, Ransohoff is one of the worlds largest producers of drum washers and tumbling barrels. Often used for cleaning and polishing ammunition shells, castings, carbon covered remanufactured parts, and fasteners.

Ransohoff is pleased to announce the LeanJet RB-8 immersion cleaning system, formerly known as the ImmersoJet HC-8. This rotary basket washer  processes eight (8) industrial standard size baskets of parts per cycle, up to eighty (80) baskets per hour. The LeanJet RB-8 cleans using a patented washing and rinsing process of agitation, spray impingement, hydraulic purging through immersion and rotation, ultrasonics, and heated blow-off drying. The patented "triple action" batch cleaning process was developed specifically to process a broad range of challenging parts, especially those with internal bores and passages and complex geometries, making this system capable of meeting critical cleaning expectations. The LeanJet RB-8 parts washer also features the latest Siemens S7-1200 programmable controller and operator interface screen. This controls platform boosts system flexibility for automation integration, process control and data logging while offering an intuitive user interface. As with all of the CTG LeanJet products, customer specific basket designs are available to accommodate larger parts

Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics is pleased to announce its newly redesigned Aquarius tank to tank precision ultrasonic cleaning system. Our patented technology allows us to incorporate seven (7) independent frequencies, 40-80-120-140-170-220-270, in a single tank which makes for a very compact design. Complete with a fully automated robotic transfer this high production cleaning system is designed to meet your most stringent cleanliness requirements. With the programmable controller being capable of running multiple recipes, dictated by an operator or part specific bar codes, this system is completely flexible for any part configuration. The controller can be programmed to track parts through the cleaning process as well as log all process parameter data points including dwell times, process temperatures, ultrasonic settings, and output this data for external storage.
